Xiaomi finally started pushing their new major OS update, MIUI 13 for the Poco F2 Pro based on Android 12. The update is now started rolling around the globe.

Poco F2 Pro is one of the flagship devices from Xiaomi that has been launched in May 2020. It runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 out-of-the-box. It packs Snapdragon 865 SoC, a 6.67-inches Super AMOLED display, a pop-up selfie camera, up to 8GB/256GB storage, 64MP quad rear cameras, and an in-display fingerprint sensor, 4700mAh battery with 30W quick charging, and more.

As per some reports, it is said to be rolling with build number V13.0.1.0.SJKTRXM for users in Turkey and will soon reach other users around the globe. With this, Xiaomi has included the latest March 2022 Security patch which fixes many security bugs and vulnerabilities.

Poco F2 Pro Device Overview:

The Poco F2 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor, coupled with 6/8 GB of RAM. Note that this device is also known as the Redmi K30 Pro. Under the hood, the device is juiced by a 4,700 mAh battery and supports Fast Chargin 30W, USD Power Delivery 3.0, and Quick Charge 4+. The device sports 6.67-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio with 395 PPI density. Poco F2 Pro is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It comes with Android 10 MIUI 12 out of the box and will receive the Android 11 update soon.

Talking about the camera, the phone comes with a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary lens, 5MP telephoto lens, 13MP, ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone is capable of recording, 8K@24/30fps, 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120/240fps, and 1080p@960fps. For selfies, the Poco F2 Pro houses a motorized popup 20 MP camera that can record 1080@30fps. The phone offers up to 256GB of onboard storage and UFS 3.1 for faster data transfer.

Steps to Install Android 12 on Poco F2 Pro
